Petite Pendant With Crystal Rhinestone Tutorial

Learn how to make very cute petite polymer clay pendant with Rhinestone.

Love making pendants, earrings, key chains and charms - everything that dangles, no reason, just love it.
Here is tutorial for making any of these, I've called it a pendant, but it could easily be charm or earring etc.

You will need:

• Rolled piece of clay (size depends on how big you want your pendant to be)
• Jump ring
• Rhinestone (you have to decide color and size)
• Modelling tools (I used all sorts of dotting tools, like nail dotting tool, and sort of wrench from kids toys, ball pen, etc.)
• x acto knife

 

1. Squeeze the rolled polymer clay between your fingers. I've used surgical gloves, so there won't be any finger prints.

2. Cut 2" through with x acto knife to make a pocket for the jump ring.

 3. insert a jump ring in to the hole.

4. Push it inside so 1/3 of it will pop out. Squeeze the hole to seal the ring.

 5. Place rhinestone in the middle of the pendant push it in to the clay with your finger.

6. Start decorating with your tools and let your imagination flow.
